I've never kept a blog before. I'd think it's would be similar to my ramblings and updates on my News page so let's give it a go. :)
Working on MSA year end points so PA'ing has taken a back seat for the time being. Anyone waiting on certificates please be patient.
On to other things...
The voices! I don't know a writer who doesn't hear the voices, I know I sure do. There are a number of them but 3-4 in particular like to drive me up the wall regularly:
Two who like to bicker often. There is a relationship in their future but one of them denies the possiblity as if it were the plague and the other likes to aggrevate her about anything and everything. Okay, maybe not everything, there are things he doesn't set out to annoy her with but it seems to do so anyway.
There's the brooding one. She actually doesn't do a whole lot of talking and I seriously think ALL the others are afraid of her to some extent but she's there and I know she is. As quiet as she is she's the MOST aggrevating to me.
And there's the one that seems to be the most relaxed, he finds ways to calm the others and he's just about the only one that can get Miss Brooding to relax and smile. He's quick to laugh, he's wise and he's a handsome devil...er, sorry there, getting off track. =P He's quick to laugh, he's wise and he almost never fails to point out why someone needs to take the time to relax, take it easy and enjoy life.
The first two often get on a roll and make it impossible for me to concentrate on the task at hand. Sometimes the last one can get them to behave themselves and sometimes not. When he can't the middle one makes sure they do.
As crazy as they make me on some days, I'd be lost without them.
Over the years they've all helped me live through some difficult times. The last one in particular, he's been with me since I was a kid and he's survived and evolved over the years, though at his core he has always remained quick to laugh, wise and almost never fails to point out why someone needs to relax and enjoy life. Most of the others are much newer but no less important in their own ways. They've all come a long way from where they began.
Long live the voices! <3
