Windfall Coach Horses!
The NASCH was developed at Astralwood Coach Horses, a division of Canadian Pride Stables.
The goal of this project is to bring back the old style coach horse of England (Yorkshire Coach Horse),
while adding the color and stamina of the Appaloosa.
Ideally, the NASCH should be of 75% Cleveland Bay or Hackney blood, with Appaloosa blood being no more than 50%.

Ideally, the NASCH should be of 75% Cleveland Bay or Hackney blood, with Appaloosa blood being no more than 50%.
There are 2 types:
- Carriage Type - Those of Hackney blood, lighter boned, high steppers - meant for a single driver/cart.
- Coach Type - Those of Cleveland Bay blood, heavier boned, capable of pulling more weight at faster speed.
The two types are not to be bred together, we are looking to refine each type until they resemble the perfect horse for each style of Driving.
One is more for elegance and the other more for everyday travel/use.
